🍫☕ Mini Tiramisu Cups Recipe

Ingredients (6 servings)

For the Cream Layer:

  • 250 g (8.8 oz) mascarpone cheese, softened

  • 300 ml (1¼ cups) heavy cream, cold

  • 80 g (⅔ cup) powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Coffee Dip:

  • 250 ml (1 cup) strong brewed coffee, cooled

  • 2 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional, e.g., Kahlúa)

For Assembly:

  • 18–20 ladyfinger biscuits (savoiardi)

  • Unsweetened cocoa powder (for dusting)

  • Dark chocolate shavings or chunks (for garnish)


Instructions

1️⃣ Make the Cream Layer

  1. In a large bowl, whip the cold heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.

  2. In another bowl, gently beat mascarpone cheese until smooth.

  3. Fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone until well combined and fluffy.

2️⃣ Prepare the Coffee Dip

  1. Mix cooled coffee with coffee liqueur (if using) in a shallow dish.

3️⃣ Assemble the Cups

  1. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture (don’t soak too long or they will fall apart).

  2. Place a layer of dipped ladyfingers at the bottom of each serving glass.

  3. Pipe or spoon a layer of mascarpone cream on top.

  4. Repeat the process for 2–3 layers, finishing with a cream layer.

4️⃣ Garnish

  1. Dust the top generously with cocoa powder.

  2. Add dark chocolate shavings or chunks for decoration.

5️⃣ Chill & Serve

  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours (overnight is best) before serving so the flavors meld beautifully.


💡 Tips:

  • For a non-alcoholic version, skip the coffee liqueur.

  • Use a piping bag for a cleaner, more professional layered look.
