
Chocolate Oreo Celebration Cake πβ¨
Ingredients
For the Chocolate Cake:

1 ¾ cups (220g) all-purpose flour
-
1 ½ cups (300g) granulated sugar
-
¾ cup (65g) unsweetened cocoa powder
-
2 tsp baking powder
-
1 ½ tsp baking soda
-
1 tsp salt
-
2 large eggs
-
1 cup (240ml) whole milk
-
½ cup (120ml) vegetable oil
-
2 tsp vanilla extract
-
1 cup (240ml) boiling water
For the Frosting:
-
1 ½ cups (340g) unsalted butter, softened
-
4 cups (500g) powdered sugar
-
¼ cup (60ml) heavy cream (add more if needed)
-
2 tsp vanilla extract
-
8 Oreo cookies, crushed (plus extra for garnish)
Decorations:
-
Colorful sprinkles
-
Whole Oreo cookies (for topping)
Instructions
1. Make the Cake:
-
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two 8-inch round cake pans.
-
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
-
Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Beat until smooth.
-
Gradually mix in boiling water — the batter will be thin, but that’s okay.
-
Pour into pans and bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
-
Let cakes cool completely before frosting.
2. Make the Frosting:
-
Beat butter until creamy.
-
Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing on low speed.
-
Add cream and vanilla, then beat on high until light and fluffy.
-
Fold in crushed Oreos.
3. Assemble the Cake:
-
Place one cake layer on a serving plate. Spread a generous layer of frosting on top.

Add the second cake layer, then frost the entire cake.
-
Decorate with colorful sprinkles, extra Oreo crumbs, and whole Oreo cookies on top.
4. Serve & Enjoy:
Slice into generous portions and enjoy with a cold glass of milk or coffee. β
