If You Notice These Signs in Your Back and Legs, Pay Attention to Your Kidneys Before It’s Too Late!

1. Unusual Back Pain

The kidneys are located below the rib cage, on both sides of the spine. If the pain is higher than the lower back, it could be a kidney issue rather than regular back pain. This pain is typically felt in the upper back, not the lower back. Kidney-related pain can occur on one or both sides, usually below the ribs. Unlike regular back pain, kidney pain persists and does not go away, even when changing positions.

2. Swelling in Hands and Feet

Swelling (edema) is a common symptom of kidney disease. This type of swelling is soft, white, and leaves an indentation when pressed. It usually starts around the eyelids and face, then spreads to the lower limbs, and can eventually affect the entire body, including the hands, back, abdomen, and genitals. Possible causes include:
Chronic glomerulonephritis syndrome
Nephrotic syndrome
Acute kidney failure syndrome
Chronic kidney failure syndrome

3. Other Symptoms

The symptoms of kidney disease depend on its underlying cause and may include:
Fever
Painful urination
Cloudy urine
Blood in the urine
Nausea and vomiting

Kidney disease often progresses silently, making it difficult to detect in its early stages. Many cases are diagnosed late, leading to high treatment costs and significant fatigue for the patient.

💡 Early detection is crucial to prevent complications and maintain kidney health.
