Garlic Butter Broiled Lobster Tail πŸ¦žπŸ‹

Ingredients

  • 2 lobster tails (6–8 oz each)

  • 1/4 cup (60g) unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley or chives, finely chopped

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • Lemon wedges for serving


Instructions

1. Prepare the lobster tails:

  1. Using kitchen scissors, cut the top shell lengthwise down the center, stopping at the tail.

  2. Gently loosen the meat from the shell, lift it out, and rest it on top of the shell for presentation.

  3. Pat the lobster meat dry with paper towels.

2. Make the garlic butter:

  1. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.

3. Broil the lobster:

  1. Preheat your oven’s broiler to high and position the rack 5–6 inches from the heat.

  2. Brush the lobster meat generously with garlic butter mixture.

  3. Broil for 6–8 minutes, basting halfway through, until the meat is opaque and slightly browned on top.

4. Garnish & serve:

  1. Sprinkle fresh parsley or chives over the top.

  2. Serve immediately with extra melted butter and lemon wedges.
