☕ Coffee Ice Cream Sundae with Caramel Drizzle

Ingredients

For the Coffee Ice Cream (Homemade Option):

  • 2 cups heavy cream (chilled)

  • 1 cup whole milk

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 3 tbsp instant espresso powder (or very strong brewed coffee, cooled)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

(Or simply use store-bought coffee ice cream for convenience!)

For the Toppings:

  • Whipped cream

  • Fresh strawberries & blueberries

  • Chocolate chips (mini)

  • 2 Oreo cookies (or any chocolate cookies)

  • Caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

For Garnish:

  • Extra coffee beans (optional, for decoration)


Instructions

Step 1 – Make the Coffee Ice Cream (if homemade)

  1. In a saucepan, whisk together milk, sugar, and espresso powder until dissolved.

  2. Remove from heat and stir in heavy cream and vanilla.

  3. Chill mixture in the fridge for at least 2 hours.

  4. Pour into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions. Freeze until firm.


Step 2 – Assemble the Sundae

  1. Place a few sliced strawberries and blueberries at the bottom of a sundae glass.

  2. Add 2–3 scoops of coffee ice cream on top.

  3. Insert Oreo cookies at the sides for crunch.

  4. Top generously with whipped cream.

  5. Sprinkle mini chocolate chips over the whipped cream.


Step 3 – Drizzle & Serve

  1. Drizzle warm caramel sauce over the whipped cream (let it drip down for effect!).

  2. Garnish with fresh berries around the glass.

  3. Serve immediately with a long spoon.


🍴 Serving Suggestion

Pair this sundae with a hot espresso shot for a “café-style affogato twist.” Perfect for coffee lovers who also crave a sweet dessert!
