Cheese-Stuffed Potato Balls

Ingredients:

  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and boiled

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

  • Oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Mash the Potatoes – After boiling, mash the potatoes in a large bowl until smooth. Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder if desired. Mix well.

  2. Shape the Balls – Take a spoonful of mashed potato, flatten it in your hand, and place a cube or pinch of mozzarella cheese in the center. Close the potato around the cheese and roll into a ball.

  3. Coat the Balls – Roll each ball in flour, then dip into beaten egg, and coat with breadcrumbs.

  4. Fry Until Golden – Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the potato balls until golden brown and crispy on all sides.

  5. Serve – Garnish with chopped parsley and enjoy while hot for the best cheesy stretch!
